The ALFE Bag-In-Box

The Bag-In-Box (BIB) houses breathing bags which hold test gases used in the pulmonary tests. Attached to the front of the BIB is the Scrubber Assembly, used in the Hypoxic Ventilatory Response test, and the Coverplate, used to cover the BIB interface hole during launch and is also used in GASMAP calibration.
